NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
LOCAL LAW #1 of 2020
The Village of Corfu will conduct a Public Hearing at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 remotely via phone or computer.
The purpose of this Public Hearing is to allow any and all interested parties an opportunity to comment on the adopting of a Proposed Local Law #1 of 2020 authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit established in General Municipal Law §3- The entire Local Law #1 of2020 of the Village of Corfu is currently on file at the office of the Village Clerk available for inspection and can be emailed or mailed to you by contacting the village office at 585-599-3327.
Because of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic and the State and Federal bans on large meetings or gatherings and pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 220.1 issued March 12, 2020 suspending the Open Meeting Law, the Village of Corfu Board Meeting and Public Hearing scheduled for April 8, 2020 will be held electronically via phone conference or computer instead of a public meeting open for the public to attend in person.
