This great fundraiser has now started. The goal is to light up the Village of Corfu with Trees on everyone’s front yard or porch. This will coincide with the lighting of the tree at the Presbyterian Church(details to come). These trees are available on a first come, first serve basis. Sending in a check does NOT guarantee at tree.

The trees are Douglas fir, they have soft needles, about 1 inch in length.
The trees are cut trees, not rooted trees that can be replanted.

Food by Center Street BBQ, Dubby’s Wood Fired Pizza and Dilcher’s snacks and more. Tarot card readings, paintings, handmade items by several local artists. And of course, trick or treating. Autumn in the Village official map. Center Street food truck will also be on site. Come join us for a fun and safe Halloween event.
Help us bring the village alive with the spirit of the season by creating a unique scarecrow to display during our inaugural Autumn in the Village celebration!
Design a custom scarecrow to display in front of your home from October 24 – November 1. They can be attached to a mailbox or in front of the house (please do not attach them to road signs or light poles). Scarecrows must be made in good taste and weather-resistant.
Participants must maintain the scarecrow while on display.

The Crossroads House in Batavia will be having an impromptu garage sale at 11 Liberty Street. Although much smaller than their annual garage sale due to restrictions on public gatherings, “the show must go on!” Volunteers have been busy pricing a wide variety of treasures including glassware, collectibles, household items, and a few pieces of furniture. Garage access will be limited to a few people at a time, social distancing measures will be in place, and masks will be required.
This sale is to not only help fill the funding gap left by cancelled fundraisers but also to move out merchandise that would have sold at their summer sale.
The sale will be held on Friday, October 9th from 9-2, and Saturday, October 10th from 9-12. (No early birds, please).

- Saturday, September 12th, 8am – 11am
For our protection and yours, our employees will not be able to remove items from your vehicles. We will ask residents to put items in bucket of skid loader to dispose. We cannot accept the following items: tires, oil, garbage, toxic materials, refrigerators, freezers or air conditioners, unless Freon has been removed. Paint cans will only be accepted if empty and lid removed. We will accept car batteries, couches, stoves, dishwashers and mattresses.
PCD Kiwanis 13th Annual Car Cruise and Fall Festival
September 20, 2020 11am - 4pm
The PCD (Pembroke, Corfu Darien) Kiwanis 13th Annual Car Cruise and Fall Festival will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Pembroke Town Park (next to the Pembroke High School). This is a rain or shine event. There is something for everyone. Besides having 200+ amazing cars, trucks and tractors, we have kids activities which include our 2nd Annual Free Kids Car Cruise (8 yrs. and under) which is from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., a huge basket raffle by Crossroads House and a huge variety of vendors from many areas, raffles, great music with DJ Hank Nevins, food from Crossroads House and food trucks.
The car registration begins at 9:00 a.m. Pre-Registration fee is $10 per car and it is $15 registration the day of the cruise for all participants non pre-registered. Proceeds benefit PCD Kiwanis Kids Projects in our community. Unique Dash Plaques/Goody bags only guaranteed for first 100 cars. The Dash Plaque is very unique and it is made from car, truck or motorcycle parts. We have several participants that pre-register every year so they are guaranteed a dash plaque. Each years dash plaque is unveiled the morning of the car cruise. Vendor Space is $20 for a 10’x10′ space and Food vendor space is $100. There is no charge for non profit organizations but you must complete a vendor application.
