The village office will be closed on Friday, March 5, 2021.
The Village of Corfu will conduct a Public Hearing at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at the Pembroke Community Center, 116 E. Main St, Corfu NY.
The purpose of this Public Hearing is to allow any and all interested parties an opportunity to comment on the adopting of a Proposed Local Law #1 of 2021 authorizing a property tax levy in excess of the limit established in General Municipal Law §3-c.
The entire Local Law #1 of 2021 of the Village of Corfu is currently on file at the office of the Village Clerk available for inspection and can be emailed or mailed to you by contacting the village office at 585-599-3327.

We would like to remind Village residents that under the law, the removal of snow and ice from the sidewalks is the responsibility of the adjacent property owner. The Village will try to assist in the removal of snow from the sidewalks however; this does not and will not reduce owner’s responsibility. If everyone will abide by the rules, it would facilitate snow removal in the Village.
1) Please do not pile snow from driveways onto the sidewalks, particularly after the Village plow has gone through. Do not block sidewalks at any time!
2) Remember there is a parking ban on Village streets between the hours of 2:00 am and 6:00 am from Nov. 1st to April 30th. Vehicles in violation will be issued tickets and may be towed away. This is regardless of whether or not there is snow.
Village of Corfu Budget Meetings Scheduled
Budget Meetings: The Village of Corfu Board of Trustees will be meeting at 6:30 pm the following Wednesdays to work on the 2021-22 Budget
These dates are in addition to standard meeting nights of the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at 116 East Main St, Corfu.

The Zoning Board of Appeals for Village of Corfu will conduct a remote Public Hearing at 6:30 PM on Thursday, January 21, 2021. The purpose of this Public Hearing is to allow any and all interested parties an opportunity to comment on zoning changes to Mixed Use for 18 E. Main St., Corfu NY.
Because of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic and the State and Federal restrictions on large meetings or gatherings and pursuant to Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 220.1 issued March 12, 2020 suspending the Open Meeting Law-extended through January 29, 2021, the meeting will be held electronically via phone conference instead of a public meeting open for the public to attend in person.
